We developed our software solutions because we found we were regularly facing the same technical and creative challenges. For example, we were providing remote support for a number of broadcasters and needed a tool to assist us and them in problem diagnosis. Often the customer contracted with us because they had limited out-of-hours expertise, but we needed to diagnose issues from off-site. As a result the first version of Viz Secure was designed.A couple of years ago multi-touch screens started to appear and broadcasters were attracted to their potential. We needed to extend the power of Viz to exploit these new devices, but didn’t want to develop scripts each time. Plus we needed a way to generalize the interface between various devices and Viz engines. As a result we have developed and now distribute a range of functional plug-ins, plus a gateway system. Our direct experience drives every aspect of our product design.
